Jamie M. Bio:

Jamie has been working in various aspects of fitness and wellness all her life. After narrowly missing the 2012 Swimming Olympic Trials, a severe shoulder injury prevented her from continuing to train. Although unable to compete, she continued to coach elite swimmers and built several swim programs from the ground up. Looking for something new that would be helpful for her shoulder recovery, she began doing Power yoga. Wanting to learn as much about the practice as she had about swimming, she went on to complete her 200 Hour Yoga Alliance Power Yoga Training. Her past training enabled her to experience the extreme physical demands of a rigorous program, while her post injury approach has given her the rounded perspective necessary to develop training programs that promote longevity of physical activity. Her objective is to create adaptable routines which can cater to each individual’s strengths and weaknesses, while promoting improved physical self awareness. Experience this by trying out her Functional classes!
